Born July 1, 1884 in Carroll County in the Hickory Grove Community, she was the daughter of G. Marion and Sarah Scott Briney. Her marriage was September 22, 1903, to William Coppock who passed away July 16, 1968.
She was a life long member of the Hickory Grove Church and lived in Monticello four years and in the Idaville Community 13 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Felicia Draper of Rt. 3, Rochester, and Mrs. Zella Stodgell of Rt. 3, Kokomo, and a son, William Coppock of Gary; nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren; a brother, Gus Briney of Monticello.
Final rites were Sunday afternoon at Miller Funeral Home in Monticello with the Rev. Glen Friar officiating. Interment was in the Hickory Grove Cemetery.
