BISHOP Mr. Dale Wright Bishop -- a native of Falmouth, KY and a longtime resident of Mobile, AL, died Tuesday, January 1, 2013 in a local hospital. Mr. Bishop married Vivian Joann McCullough in 1953 and earned his degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1955. He retired from Ciba-Geigy after 40 years of service. He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church for 32 years and was past-president of Heron Lakes Country Club and past-president of the Sertoma Club. Mr. Bishop was preceded in death by one son, Kent Douglas Bishop and one brother, James Rice Bishop. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Vivian Joann Bishop; two sons, Warren Dale Bishop and Walter Andrew Bishop; one sister, Ada Keller; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Sarah, Bryan, Michael, Jordan, Morgan, and Taylor; one great-grandchild, Khloe; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A memorial service will be held at 3 P.M. on Sunday, January 6, 2013 at Christ United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends from 2 P.M. until 3 P.M. on Sunday at the church.
