Herman Arends,68, died at 9:50 am Tuesday at Paxton Community Hospital, where he had been a patient for a few days. He had been suffering from a heart condition.
He was taken to the Sidell Funeral Home in Cissna Park. Arrangements are incomplete.
Mr. Arends had lived in Paxton for the last two years. His wife died several years ago. He was a farmer for many years in the area between Buckley and Cissna Park. Surviving is one son, Laurence, Buckley, and one daughter, Mrs. Wilbur Walder, Cissna Park.
