Mrs. Maryland Davis Milby, daughter of the late Mr. Clarence Cowherd and Mrs. Josie Cowherd Hinton, was born 22 Feb 1933 in Green Co. and departed this life on 5 Aug [1988] at the Taylor Co. Hospital in Campbellsville. She was 55 years, 5 months and 12 days o f age. She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church at the time of her death. She united in marriage to Mr. Holland Moss Milby on 11 Nov 1950 who survives. To this union were born 4 sons and 2 daughters: Mr. Paul D. Milby, Mr. Gary M. Milby, Mr. Stephen C. Milby, all of Greensburg, Mr. Michael L. Milby of Campbellsville, Mrs. Thurasa M. Wilson and Mrs. Marcia M. Caven, both of Greensburg. She is also survived by 2 brothers: Mr. Charles Hinton of Summersville and Mr. Demmon Hinton of Fl; 2 sisters: Mrs. Jo Ann Johnson of Sheperdsville and Mrs. Margaret Milby o f Greensburg; 7 grandchildren: Amye and Jeff Wilson of Greensburg, Jessica McCubbin, Roger Cole Caven and Stephen M. Milby, all of Greensburg, Morgan Milby and Heath Milby of Campbellsville; 1 step-grandson: Jamie Caven of Greensburg and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death of her step-father, Mr. Guy Hinton. The funeral services for Mrs. Maryland Davis Milby were conducted at 2 pm Sun. 7 Aug; at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial in the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Rev. Kevin Sandlin and Rev. Hermon Wilkins officiated. Pallbearers were Gary M. Milby, Paul D. Milby, Michael L. Milby, Stephen C. Milby, Larry Caven and Gary E. Wilson.
