Addie Mae Foster, 88, retired from the Arlington school district, died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2004, at an Arlington hospital.
Mrs. Foster was born Jan. 20, 1915, in Arlington, the daughter of Elliott Conner and Tillie Mae Isbell Brewton. She married her husband of 57 years, James Franklin Foster, on March 27, 1937. Her husband preceded her in death April 28, 1994. She also was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Alvin and Earl Brewton; sister, Orpha Crittenden; and one great-grandson, Josh Skelton.
