George Spaulding, 80, retired farmer of the Hempridge area, died Friday at King's Daughters Hospital, where he had been taken Thursday after a fall. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Pulliam Spaulding; two daughters, Mrs. C. J. Morris, and Mrs. J. L. Hammond, both of Shelby County; three sons, J. W. and George Spaulding, both of Shelby County, and James Spaulding, Anderson County; a sister, Mrs. N. W. Bohannon, Bagdad, and two brothers, Clayborn Spaulding, Madison, lnd., and Lee Spaulding, Shelby County. The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Shannon Funeral Home.
