James Reed "Poppa D" Dreher Sr., age 77, of Bryant, Arkansas, passed away at his home on January 2, 2013. He was born November 26, 1935 in the Ironton Community of Pulaski County to the late Evelyn Elise and James Floyd Dreher. He graduated from Fuller High School, and retired from Reynolds Metals Company as a Mechanical Engineer in 1989. James was a member of the Bryant Water Board and a member of Bryant United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Virginia, and great-granddaughter, Tinlee Elise Dreher.

He is survived by his devoted and loving wife of 57 years, Patsy; son Jim Dreher Jr. and wife Credonna, Benton; daughters, Yolanda Dreher, Little Rock; Genia Dreher Manley and husband Paul, Charlotte, North Carolina; grandchildren, Cody Dreher and wife Stacy, Kalin Dunning and husband Russ, Cooper Manley and Hudson Manley, and sister, Dorothy Groff and husband Phil of Port Orchard, Washington.

Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Ashby Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Ivy Chapel Cemetery in Little Rock. Minister will be Bro. Hammett Evans.
