The funeral service for Revel Logging Co. truck driver Phillip Neal Harper of Paris will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.

Wilbur Farmer will officiate. Burial will be in Bevil Cemetery.

Chosen as pallbearers are Michael Case, Billy Forbus, Tommy Willis, Dennis Cherry, Randall Lowe and Carl Tanner.

Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 9 a.m. Friday.

Harper, 57, died Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2013, at Henry County Medical Center after a long illness.

His wife, Tammy Hampton Harper, survives. They were married on May 8, 2008.

Born Dec. 8, 1955, in Paducah, he was a son of the L.C. Harper of Paris and the late Dorothy Lee Harper.

Harper attended Jesus the Recovery Center in Henry.

He also leaves one daughter: Quinn (Wayne) Clemons of Clarksville; one stepson: Jesse Jones of Clarksville; six grandchildren: Emma, Lilly, Helen, Isabella, Annastasia and Olivia Clemons;

Five sisters: Betty Ruth Bradley, JoAnn (Ronnie) Tyler and Carolyn (Paul) Tanner, all of Paris, and Sandra Ramey and Treva Stutzman, both of Henry; and three brothers: Ned Harper of Henry, Jerry Harper of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Terry (Virginia) Harper of Houston.

He also was preceded in death by a brother: Billy Wayne Harper; and two brothers-in-law: Roger Bradley and Doyle Stutzman.
