Mrs. Sanders was born on February 28, 1862 in Illinois.
She was married to William D. Sanders in Lamar County, Texas, in 1888, who preceded her in death in 1926.
She is survived by three sons, O. D. Sanders, Howland, Texas, L. W. Sanders, King city, California, Homer Sanders, Muleshoe, Texas, two daughters, Mrs. Walter Egbert of Roswell, New Mexico, and Mrs. W. O. Osterdock of Stockton, California. One daughter, deceased, Mrs. Eva Julina. Mrs. Sanders was also survived by seventeen grandchildren, five great grandchildren; and one great, great grandchild.
She was a member of the First Methodist church here.
Pallbearers were Bob Garrett, S. W. Ross, R. E. Fry, M. L. Solomon, Elton Johnson and Henry Price the latter two of Quitaque.
Harmon Funeral Home has charge of the arrangements. Interment was made in the Floydada cemetery.
