GUYMON, Okla. - Minta Fern Beer, 92, died Wednesday, Dec. 13, 2000, in Liberal, Kan.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Morning Star United Methodist Church in Hough with the Rev. Gary Shryock officiating. Burial will be in Hooker Cemetery at Hooker by Henson-Novak Funeral Directors of Guymon.

Mrs. Beer was born in Jett, Alfalfa County. She moved to Browns Corner community, where she attended school. She graduated from Goodwell High School.

She married Charlie E. Beer in 1927 at Goodwell. The lived on their farm north of Guymon, until moving to Wheatridge in 1994.

Mrs. Beer was a Sunday school teacher, a member and president of the United Methodist Women and a member of the Home Demonstration Club.

Her husband preceded her in death.

Survivors include three daughters, Theresa Stoddard of Liberal, Kan., and Janet Landess and Katherine Rosebure, both of Shawnee, Okla; three sons, Jerome Beer and Gerald Beer, both of Guymon and Curtis Beer of El Dorado, Kan.; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

The family suggests memorials be to Morning Star Methodist Church. Memorials will be accepted at the funeral home or at the church.
