Funeral services for Frances M. Esser, 80, formerly of Campbellsport, will be held Saturday at 10: 30 a.m from the Twohin Funeral Home in Campbellsport and at 11:00 a. m. at St. Matthew's Cahtolic Church.

The Revs. Michael Moran and Walter Morgan will officiate. Burial wil take place at the parish cemetery.

Friends and relative may call Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home, where a parish vigil will begin at 8 p.m.

Mrs. Esser died Tuesday, Oct. 9, 1990 , at St. Francis Home in Fond du Lac.

She was born July 23, 1910 in Ashford, the daughter of Frank and Mae McEvoy Reimer. On May 7, 1928, she married Frank E. Essser at St. Mary's Church in Lomira. He died Dec. 30, 1969.

Mrs. Esser and her husband owned and operated a blacksmith shop in Lomira until 1937, when they moved to Campbellsport and farmed along County Trunk W. She was employed as a nurse's aide at St. Joseph's Convent in Campbellsport. She was a member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church, its Christian Mothers' Society and the American Legion Auxiliary Brown-Bell Post.

Survivors include two sons, Roy and his wife Dorothy of Kewaskum, and Norman and his wife Loretta of West Bend; three daughters, Sister Jeanette Esser, S.S.F. of Johnsburg, Ill., Carol Murphy and her husband James of Eden and Jane Gurno and her husband Edward of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Gene Reimer of Manitowoc and George and his wife Katherine of Menomonee Falls; and three sisters, Katie Kleinhans of Campbellsport, Genny Schwartz and her husband Clarence of Lomira, and Helen Purko of Milwaukee.

She was preceded in death by one brother and one grandson.
