Danny M. Dean, 66, of Chattanooga, TN, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday morning, January 1, 2013.

He was the son of the late Lloyd and Helen Dean and was a Vietnam Veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include his loving wife of 30 years, Sue Dean; two daughters, Lisa Houser, Chattanooga, TN and Lori Dupree, Graysville, TN; stepson, Lebron Shirley, Malvern, AR; two grandchildren, Ryan Dupree and Jennifer Dupree, both of Chattanooga, TN; two sisters, Diane McGee, Alabama and Darlene Bonner, Florida.

The family would like to extend a special Thank You to Avalon Hospice, and we are forever grateful to Margaret, Theresa, Don and Rhonda for your excellent care.

Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. today in the East Chapel with the Rev. Louis Holloway officiating.

Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in Chattanooga National Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2-7 p.m. today before the service at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist, 404 S. Moore Road, East Ridge, TN.
