Jeanne H. Winn, 95, of Harrisburg, passed away peacefully Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at Homeland Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 9, 1917 to the late Oscar W. Heisley and Julia Stewart.
Jeanne was a retired Administrative Assistant for the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church Marysville, PA and a former member of the former 5th Street United Methodist Church Harrisburg, PA, a member of the Verna Shade Memorial Sunday School Class, and the Y Wise Men's club of Harrisburg.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Winn.
Jeanne is survived by her son Paul R. Winn and wife Judy of Harrisburg, her daughter Pamela J. Finney and husband Richard of East Stroudsburg, sister-in-law Peggy Heisley of Lemoyne, 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 3 step-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:30 PM Saturday, January 5, 2013 at Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home Harrisburg. Viewing will be held from 2:30 until time of services. Burial will be at Chestnut Grove Cemetery Marysville.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in memory of Jeanne to Bethany U.M. Church 400 Lansvale St. Marysville, PA 17053, or to the Homeland Center 1901 N. 5th St. Harrisburg, PA 17102.
