MILTON — Ramona Isadore Brown, 84, of Milton, N.H., passed away peacefully at Dover Rehab on Sept. 27, 2010, after a long battle with declining health and kidney disease. She enjoyed her visits with her family and friends in the days before her passing.
Born Sept. 10, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Warren Dean "Scotty" Burroughs Sr. and Madelene Gertrude (White) Burroughs.
In earlier years she was a shoe shop worker in various local shoe factories in Dover, Farmington, Rochester, and Somersworth. She loved to cook, crochet and loved spending time with family and friends. She will be missed for her love of nature and her fun loving way of life.
She was predeceased by her parents, Warren and Madelene, husband Bill Sr and both brothers Eugene "Gene" and Warren "Junior".
She is survived by her daughters Gloria Jean (Burroughs) Leary and husband John Edward Leary Jr. of Milton, NH, Eugenia Bonnie (Brown)Ruff and husband Charles Frederick Ruff III of Summerville, SC, son William Robert Brown Jr and wife Carol(Snow)of Sanbornville, NH. Her sister-in-law, Rosemond(Pecunas)Burroughs, wife of her late brother "Junior". Mona's grandchildren, (Gloria's) Hollie Leary, Shannon (Leary) Libby of Sanbornville, NH, Erin Leary, Heather Leary and fiancee, Robert Rizzo of South Carolina and John E. Leary III and wife, Jennifer of Farmington, NH; (Bonnie's) Brittany Charlene "Shai" (Harper)De Staedtler and husband, Mark De Staedtler of Maccelsfield, England, Madelene Harper of Biloxi, MS, Jolene Harper of Biloxi,MS and Dollene Ada (Harper) Edwards and husband, Cyrus Otis Edwards of Florida.
Also nephew, Eugene W Burroughs and wife, Brenda (Marcoux) Burroughs and their daughters Kaylee and Jessica of Milton, NH; a niece, Eleanor (Burroughs) Smith and her husband Daryl of NC. She is also survived by 21 beautiful great-grandchildren; cousins, Norma (Burroughs) Jewett and husband, Clayton, of Milton and Marion F (Adams) Cheney of Dover, NH.
She is also survived by family of her late husband Bill. Sister-in-law Hilda E (Brown) Rodzinski and her husband Richard J Sr. of MD, sister-in-law Lillian A (Moore) Brown of FL. Several nieces and nephews that meant a lot to Mona over the years.
