Actor. In a career that spanned five decades, he began as a dubber, most remembered as Oliver Hardy's voice in the Italian version of the Laurel and Hardy series. Some of his most memorable leading roles include his portrayal of a peace-loving fascist officer in "The Best of Enemies," with Michael Wilding, David Niven, Ronald Fraser and David Opatoshu; and his performance as an Italian laborer stranded in Sweden in "To Bed or Not to Bed." Other credits include: "An Average Little Man," "A Taxi Driver in New York," "An Italian in America," "The White Sheik" and "Wild Wild Women," with Anna Magnani and Giulietta Masina.
