From FAG contributor #48663790:

In his journal of travels with the 1851 Harry Walton/Garden Grove Company enroute to the Salt Lake Valley, Ossian F. Taylor describes the events surrounding the death of Mary Ann Hales, including her burial. He describes the "ancient buffs" that they were near when she was buried, but does not name them. However, he states that, on the next day, the company traveled 19 miles and CAMPED NEARLY OPPOSITE THE FORMATION KNOWN AS "CHIMNEY ROCK". This information gives us a little better clue as to where she was actually buried.
