Steve Finis Nichols, 60, of Clarksville, Arkansas, died, Monday, December 31, 2012 in Clarksville.

He was a heavy equipment operator and a member of Lamar Church of Christ.

He was born October 17, 1952 in Clarksville to Cecil and Ella Mae Workman Nichols.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Olita Stockton.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, January 4, 2012 at Shaffer Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Jerry Richardson officiating with burial at Liberty Hill Cemetery in Hunt Town, Arkansas under the direction of Shaffer Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Glenda Pullen Nichols of Clarksville; two daughters, Mindy Lynn Nichols of Kansas City, Missouri and Jodi Marie Yates of Ozark; three sons, Robert Michael Nichols of Kansas City, Missouri, Kevin Ray Nichols of Beckley, West Virginia and Timothy Ray Moore of Ozark; four sisters, Linda Sue Johnson of Clarksville, Bernetta Loretta Cooper of Waldron, Arkansas, Nellie Mae Johnson of Lamar, Arkansas and Gladys Rachelle Pitts of Hartman, Arkansas; four brothers, James William Nichols of Altus and Allen Cecil, Roger Paul and Douglas Keith Nichols all of Hunt Town, Arkansas; seven grandchildren.

The family will visit with friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Shaffer Funeral Home 2315 W. Commercial in Ozark.

Pallbearers are John Griffith, Fred Burt, Darrell Martin, Jeff and Michael Wachtendorf and Brad Skinner. Honorary will be Jason Johnson, Trevor Nichols, Cody Pitts, Scotty Nichols, James Timothy Nichols, Chad Johnson and Jimmy Brousso.
