Funeral services for Mr. Gary G. Cain, Sr. were Friday, January 4, 2013 at "The Gathering" Church, Lee Heights, Louisiana, Reverend Glen Whatley and Rowdy McClung officiated. Interment followed in Greenwood Cemetery, Pineville.

Mr. Cain, age 71, of Pineville, entered eternal rest on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at The V.A. Medical Center, Pineville, Louisiana.

He was a native of Vick, La. He was a U.S. Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War. He was a flooring installer and carpenter for many years and was also a power company lineman. He had a passion for hunting and fishing.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Edith Cain; two brothers, J.S. Cain and Elton Cain; one sister, Marlene Elliott.

He is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; one daughter, Eden Cain of West Monroe; two brothers; special thanks to those that took care of Gary and Connie, Midget, Rowdy, Pat and Ronnie; eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

Services were under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville.
