"Mrs. Mary Eggleston, 84 years old, died Wednesday at the home of her son Vernon of Greene after a long illness. She is survived by four sons, Vernon of Greene, Earl of Binghamton, William of Oneonta and Hubert of Newport; three daughters, Mrs. William (Harriet) Ingraham, Mrs. Sylvester (Sarah) Ingraham and Mrs. William (Eva) Bowen of Greene, several nieces and nephews."
