Author. She was born at Leighton (Shropshire) and died in St. Leonard's-on-Sea (Sussex). Her real name was Mary Gladys Meredith. She was ill from the age of 20 of Graves Disease. She wrote the books "The Spring of Joy," "The Golden Arrow," "Gone to Earth," " The House of Dorset Forest, "Seven for a Secret," "Precious Bane" and "Armour wherein He Trusted".
