Author. He is best known for his book "Bomarzo" that was adapted as Opera for compositor Alberto Ginastera. He also wrote "Misteriosa Buenos Aires," "El Unicornio," "El Brazalete" and "El Escarabajo". He obtained Premio Nacional de Literatura in 1963. He was known as "Manucho".
