James Paul Clancy, 81, a resident of Olympia, died Wednesday, May2, 1990, in his home.
He was born Aug. 22, 1908, to John Floyd and Pearl Clancy in Dayton. He graduated from high school in Dayton.
Mr. Clancy was married to Goldie D. Schiffman in 1943 in Abilene, Texas.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942-1945. He moved to Olympia in the mid-1940s.
Mr. Clancy was a civil engineer with the city of Olympia. He retired in 1971.
Surviving, besides his wife of the family home, are a daughter, Alice Riley, Tenino; a son, Robert, Lacey; also five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A private graveside service for Mr. Clancy was held Friday, May 4, in Olympic Memorial Gardens.
The family suggests memorial donations may be made to a favorite charity.
