E.C. Blighton Died Yesterday
For Thirty-Four years a resident of Olean - Funeral Wednesday

Elijah C. Blighton, aged 61 years, died last night about 11 o'clock at his home at Weston's. Death was due to a complication of diseases.
Mr. Blighton was born at Machias, N.Y. on February 24, 1849 and lived in Olean for 38 years. He is survived by his wife, two sons, Harry J. Blighton, Wellsboro, Pa. and Thomas N. Blighton of St. Paul, Minn. two daughters, Mrs. Oscar Simon of Buffalo and Miss Una Blighton of Westons, one brother Henry Blighton of Delevan and four sisters, Mrs. Samuel Langmade of Delevan, Mrs. Adelle Van Valkenburg of Delevan, and Mrs. Mary Taylor of Delevan, and Mrs. Almon Ashcraft of Delevan.
The funeral will be held Wednesday will be private Interment will be made at the Protestant Cemetery at Allegany. Friends are asked to omit flowers.
