Harry K Sherman, aged 76, a retired oil producer, died at the family home, 318 North Monroe street at 5:55 o'clock last night following a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mr. Sherman was born in Pittsburgh and had resided in Butler for 50 years.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Maude Adsit Sherman; four brothers, John D Sherman, of Butler; J.C. Sherman of Harlington, Tex., Frank E. Sherman, of Gibsonia, R.D. and W. Sidney Sherman, of Butler and a sister, Mrs. N. C. McCullough of Orlando, Fla.
Mr. Sherman was a member of the English Lutheran church, the United Commercial Travelers, The Associated Artists of Pittsburgh and the Butler Artists Club.
Friends are being received at the Thompson Funeral Home, East North street at McKean street.
Burial will be in North Cemetery.
