Ardith V. Davis passed away suddenly early afternoon on Saturday December 29, 2012, at the Kirby Medical Center, Monticello, Illinois.
Ardith Verneal Davis was born on November 19, 1930 at home in rural Mound Township, Effingham County a first child into the family of John and Bertha Tish-Blurton. She graduated from St. Elmo High School with the class of 1949. She attended Illinois State Teachers College in Normal, Illinois and began her teaching career at the age of 19. In her early years of marriage she taught school at the Loudon Township, Fayette County rural school as well at Ramsey, Illinois thus teaching all 8 grades.
She married Clifford Eugene Davis the love of his life on February 28, 1955 in the First Church of God, St. Elmo, Illinois by Preacher Ward. Together Ardith and Clifford were blessed with three sons, Bradley, Randy and David.
She leaves behind her Husband:Clifford Eugene Davis. 2-Sons:Bradley Lenn Davis and Randy Allen (wife, Jill) Davis.And their 2- sons:Max Davis and Seth Davis.1-Brother:Lloyd Blurton and 2-Sisters:Joyce Martin and Mila (husband, Robert) Leach.3-Sisters-in-law:Mrs. Tom or Mary Ruth Yockey.Mrs. Charles or Gertrude Irene Garrison.AndEdna Francis and her husband Oliver Wright.
Several Nieces and Nephews.

She was preceded in death by her:Parents:JohnRiley Blurton and Bertha Jane Tish-Blurton.Her Son:David Eugene Davis in his infancy.Grandson:Robert Clifford Davis in his infancy.And her Brother:Allen Melvin Blurton .
Sister-in-law:Rebecca Olive and husband Dean Painter.
