Cindy was born with several things wrong with her heart. In today's world, she probably could have been saved, but in 1961, the methods were not available. She was buried at South Park Cemetery without a grave marker, only a number. In 2004, for her parent's 52nd wedding anniversary, Cindy's siblings had a headstone made in her honor. What a beautiful picture of Heaven it represents - upon death, she was immediately comforted and held in the arms of Jesus!
