Funeral services were held Monday, Dec 5 [1955] in the Fairview Ward Chapel for Joseph Kimball Crapo, 82 a resident of Fairview until recently who died Friday, Dec 2, in Pocatello, ID. He was at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Thelma Millward, 157 Jones Drive.
He was born Dec 12, 1872, at Draper, UT, the son of Jonathan Collins Crapo and Emily Frances Burnham. He was a rancher at Parker, ID, in Alberta, Canada and in Fairview until he recently retired and moved from Fairview to Pocatello to live.
The father to 12 children, he is survived by 8 members of his family: Asa Crapo, Fairview; Ralph and Wilis Crapo, Pocatello; Linford Crapo, Shelley, ID; Mrs. Grace Barney, Annabella, UT; Mrs. Thelma Millward, Pocatello; Mrs. Vivian Larsen, Thayne, WY; and Mrs. Joyce Draney, Auburn, WY. One sister and one brother also survive.
Burial was in the Fairview cemetery under the direction of the Hall-Weiser Mortuary.
