Boron resident Buried here

Lee H. Akers, 59 of 26843 Anderson St., Boron, passed away in Tehachapi Valley Hospital on August 3rd.
A carpenter for 20 years he was employed at the U.S. Borax Co. for many years. Born July 16, 1908 in Arkansas he was a 30-year resident of California with 25 of these spent in Kern County.
Surviving are: wife Zellestial of Boron; mother Mrs. Ethel Akers; step daughter Sue Sockman; and brother Grover, all of Oxnard; sister Irene Woodmen of Ventura and two grandchildren.
Services were held Aug. 6 in the Assembly of God Church, Boron ,with Rev Wayne Tezell officiating.
Interment was in Mojave Cemetery with Stickel Mortuary making arrangements.
