Pauline K. Aikey May 24, 1919 - December 29, 2004 Pauline K. Aikey, 85, formerly of Lock Haven, a resident at Centre Crest died on December 29, 2004. She was the daughter of the late Boyd C. and Martha Jane Shoemaker of Swissdale. Pauline was of the Methodist faith. She enjoyed the five years she spent at Centre Crest engaging in social activities such as Bingo and Bowling. She was preceded in death by her husband, William I. Aikey in July 2003 and by two infant children Katheryn and William. She is survived by her daughter, Paula Gomola, husband Joe, and two grandsons (who were the apples of her eye) Joseph and William Gomola; all of Clarence; brother Calvin Shoemaker of Williamsport and many nieces and nephews. The viewing will be held on Sunday, January 2, 2005 from 12-2 pm with the funeral at 2. Arrangements are being handled by Walkers Funeral Home in Flemington. Interment will be at Swissdale Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Centre Crest Nursing Home, 502 E. Howard St., Bellefonte, PA 16823 and/or The Ronald McDonald House, 100 North Academy Avenue, Danville, PA 17822.
