She was born January 27, 1937, in Bellevue, Idaho, the daughter of Andrew and Nora (Turner) Glahn. She was reared and educated in Bellevue. She married Robert Hase in Twin Falls on April 8, 1955. She and her husband raised their family in the Magic Valley. Betty enjoyed doing puzzles, hunting and fishing with her husband, but the joy of her life was her family.
She is survived by three children, Freda Olson of Kimberly, Robert A. (Bertha - Cookie) Hase of Twin Falls, Merrie (A.J.) Morgan of Twin Falls; nine grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; two brothers, Frank (Barbara) Glahn of Bellevue, Idaho, and Warren (Shirley) Glahn of Fairfield, Idaho.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 2002, two grandchildren, her sister, Norinne, and a brother, Edward.
A funeral was conducted at 11:00 AM Friday, June 25, 2004, at White Mortuary, “Chapel by the Park”, with the Reverend J. Wesley Johnson officiating. Interment took place at 2PM Friday in the Bellevue Cemetery. A celebration of life was scheduled at the Bellevue City Park, but was rained out, so was moved to her brother Frank’s house in Bellevue.
