Verner Boswell Terry, 72 years old, a former buyer and salesman with the Townley Metal and Hardware company until his retirement in 1935, died last night at his home, 4208 Prospect avenue, following an illness of five years.
During the last three years, until he became severelly ill in March, Mr. Terry operated a newspaper selling business at the Livestock Exchange building.
He was born in La Monte, Mo., and had lived here fifty-one years. He was a member of the Methodist church.
He leaves a brother, A. R. Terry of the home."
