S. C., departed this life Monday, October 29, 1979 at Chester County Hospital, Chester, S. C. He was born in Chester County, S. C., the son of the late Mr. Joseph C Moffatt and the late Mrs. Elmira Foote Moffatt. He was married to the late Mrs. Lula Sibley Moffatt. He attended the public schools of Chester County,S.C. He was a member of Chestnut Grove A. M. E. Zion Church and served as a choir member. He was a member of Lodge #2 of the A. P. & B. Society. He wiLL be greatly missed. Survivors include one sister; Mrs Mollie Whitesides, Blacksburg, S. C., three sisters-in-law; Mrs. Mary Moffatt, Rock Hill, S. C., Mrs.Susie Moffatt and Mrs. Alberta Moffatt both of Chester S. C.Among the neices; Mrs. Alberta Colvin of the home and a host of other neices, nephews and other relatives and friends.
