Pauline D. Patterson, 75, died Tuesday (Feb. 12, 2002) at her home in McCook.
She was born Nov. 10, 1926, to Charley and Ella (Neben) Dittmar in Oconto where she received her education and later earned her General Equivalency Diploma from McCook High School.
On Jan. 21, 1949, she married James Alvin Patterson at Buffalo. They farmed northwest of McCook. Following the death of her husband she moved to McCook in 1995.
She was a member of Saint John's Lutheran Church at Culbertson and the McCook Community Hospital Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband James; and one brother, Bernard Dittmar.
Survivors include three sons, Roger and wife Linda Patterson of Lincoln, Richard and wife, Kathy Patterson of Loveland, Colo., and Ryan and wife, Carole Patterson of Boise, Idaho; one brother, Ronald Dittmar of Oconto; and six grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., at Saint John's Lutheran Church in Culbertson with Rev. Brian Hopfensperger officiating. Interment will be in the Culbertson Cemetery at Culbertson. Herrmann Funeral Chapel in Culbertson is in charge of the arrangements.
