Anna (Ann) Sarah Scott was born in Springfield, Missouri later attending the Olive Branch school in Buffalo, Dallas County, Missouri. She was the daughter of Robert Hamilton Scott and Irene Victoria Barnes. Anna started working for the Pacific Mutual Insurance Company October 1, 1918 until she retired October 30, 1959. Anna lived for many years in her home at Pasadena, California. She moved to a duplex at Los Osos, San Luis Obispo county, California due to failing health. Anna never married but she was very close to family members corresponding with many over the years. Anna stated it well when she said 'blood is everything to me.' She died at Los Osos. Graveside services were held at Oakdale Memorial Park September 10, 1988.
