On Nov. 5, 1997, our special angel, Helen Leola Fredrickson, returned home after fulfilling her journey on earth.

Born Aug. 20, 1917 in Roosevelt, Utah to Joseph James and Susan LaVernia O'Neil Hards. She married her life-long companion, Everett L. Fredrickson, Aug. 15, 1934 and enjoyed 63 years together. She was a member of the LDS Church, homemaker, rode with the Silver Spurs Riding Club in the 1950's, loved traveling, fishing and camping.

Surviving are husband, Everett; children, Richard (Lyn); Pam (Terry) Kay; Mark (Deanne), all of Salt Lake City; Kay (Jim) Samuelson of South Jordan; Sharon (Bill) Young of Ivins, Utah ; son-in-law, LaVar Smith of Kearns; 22 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; six sisters; four brothers; and daughter, Patricia.

Funeral services will be held Monday, Nov. 10, 1997, 12 noon at the Memorial Estates Mortuary , 5850 South 900 East, wherefriends may call Sunday, 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment, Redwood Memorial Estates.
