Mrs. E. C. Frazer Dies Suddenly Last Night.

Mrs. Ursula Barber Frazer, aged 55 years, wife of E. C. Frazer, rural letter carrier and prominent farmer and citizen of Buffalo, died suddenly at her home in that community last night about 8:30 following an illness with extended over a period of several months. Funeral services have been announced for Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Lebanon Presbyterian church with Rev. F. H. McElroy, pastor of the deceased, being the officiating minister. Interment will be in the Lebanon Cemetery.
The deceased was one of seven children of the late A. Y. Barber and Corrine Smith Barber, of the Lebanon community, and had made her home in that community for life. She was a member of the Lebanon Presbyterian church and had taken an active interest in the affairs of the church and community. For the past twelve months or more she had been in ill health, but her condition was thought by immediate members of the family to be much improved. Reports state that she had enjoyed during the Christmas holidays the reunion of her family and other festivities connected with the holidays and was thought to be on the way to permanent recovery. The lights had just been turned out in the home about 8:30 o'clock Tuesday night when her husband heard a struggling sound from her bed. The lights were again turned on to find her dead. Death was sudden and was a result of a heart ailment.
Surviving the deceased are her husband, E. C. Frazer, Jr., LaFayette; Allen Frazer, Charlotte, N.C.; Barber Frazer, Chapel Hill, N.C.; Martha Frazer, Buffalo; four sisters, Mrs. Gertrude Frazier (sic), West Point; Mrs. Carrie Swaney, Birmingham; Mrs. Anna Yeargan, Banco, Texas; Mrs. Irene Hamer, New Orleans; two brothers, H. C. Barber, Lineville, and T. P. Barber, Atlanta.
