Connie Womac Coleman, 66, of Niota, died Friday, July 6, 2012, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.

She was a native and lifelong resident of McMinn County, and was a daughter of the late R.T. and Frances Harwell Womac. She was an employee of Citizens National Bank for 49 years and was a member of Niota United Methodist Church and Niota Lions Club.

Survivors include her husband of 47 years, Charles Donald Coleman of Niota; two daughters and sons-in-law, Patty and Mark Lee of Harrison, and Beth and Rick Gates of Ooltewah; one sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Jack Webb of Niota; one granddaughter, Lily Gates; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 8 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Laycock-Hobbs Funeral Home with the Rev. Joshua Felton and the Rev. Benny Matherly officiating. Burial will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Niota Cemetery.

Active pallbearers will be members of the Christian Co-Workers Sunday School Class at Niota United Methodist Church.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Niota United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 190, Niota, TN 37826.
