He married Hazel Mary Davis on 22 March 1913, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He lived in Clifton, Oneida, Idaho in 1900 and Ashton, Fremont, Idaho in 1910. He died on 22 July 1917, in Jefferson County, Idaho, at the age of 26, and was buried in Pineview Cemetery, Ashton, Fremont, Idaho.
