FAMILY SEARCH. When William Robert Porritt was born on 25 April 1891, in Clifton, Franklin, Idaho, his father, Thomas Porritt Jr, (1849-1918) was 41 and his mother, Sarah Elizabeth Hampton (1853-1926), was 38. He married Hazel Mary Davis on 22 March 1913, in Salt Lake City, Salt Lake, Utah. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He lived in Clifton, Oneida, Idaho in 1900 and Ashton, Fremont, Idaho in 1910. He died on 22 July 1917, in Jefferson County, Idaho, at the age of 26, and was buried in Pineview Cemetery, Ashton, Fremont, Idaho.

William was the son of Thomas Porritt and Sarah Elizabeth Hampton. He was the husband of Hazel Mary Davis and the father of two children, Hazel Velva and Eva Margaret, when he was killed in a car accident at age 26. He was a farmer but also a race car driver.
