He married Augusta Mildred Bowie (1881-1948) on 19 January 1916, in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas. They were the parents of at least 2 daughters. He lived in Warm River, Fremont, Idaho in 1930 and Gibson Election Precinct, Bingham, Idaho in 1940. He died on 6 November 1962, in Blackfoot, Bingham, Idaho, at the age of 87, and was buried in Pineview Cemetery, Ashton, Fremont, Idaho on 9 November, 1962.
