Julia Louise Harr Jacobs, age 74, of Bristol, TN went to be with The Lord, Friday, December 28, 2012 in the Bristol Regional Medical Center.

She was born March 23, 1938 in Tipton Hill, NC a daughter of the late Harrison and Marie Sparks McCourry.

She lived most of her life in the Bristol area. She was retired from Volunteer Textiles, and was a member of Fellowship Chapel.

Mrs. Jacobs is preceded in death by husbands, Charles Wade Harr and Harold "Bud" Jacobs, and brother, Arnold "Buddy" McCourry.

She is survived by:Children: Charles "Chuck" Harr and wife Debbie, Vickie Hightower and husband Bill, Jeff Harr and wife Tina, Kim Compton and husband KeebGrandchildren: Erik Stewart, Joshua Harr, Justin Harr, Thomas Harr, Rachel Harr, Christina Compton, James Compton, Victoria ComptonSisters: Arbulus Butler and Edna Rose PriceBrothers: Harrison McCourry, Jr., Harold McCourry, and Doug McCourryA funeral service will be held 4pm, Tuesday, January 1, 2012 in the Weaver Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Scott Price officiating.

The burial will be 11:00 am, Wednesday, January 2, 2012 in the Glenwood Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 3 to 4pm prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Larry Butler, Tim Lawson, Lawrence Harr, Mark Harr, Gilles St. Gelais, and Robert Molezzo. Online condolences may be registered at www.weaverfuneralhome.net.
