of 4411 Kensington,who was killed
yesterday when a tank truck exploded
at a construction job on I-70,will
be held at 11 o'clock Monday at the
Newcomer chapel, Brush Creek and the
Paseo, Burial will be in Green Lawn
cemetery.
Mr. West was born in St.Louis and
lived here 25 years. He was a truck
driver for the Bowen Construction
company. He was a member of the
Teamsters union, local No 541.
Surviving are the wife,Mrs Buelah
West of the home; two daughters,
Mrs Carol Stevenson,3921 North Jackson,
Mrs Louise Hinsley,7844 North Oak; his
mother, Mrs Clara Luhring, St. Louis;
a brother Virgil West,and three sisters,
Mrs Velma Durbin,Mrs Vera Schneidwind and
Mrs Goldie Gilmore all of Glencoe,Mo; a
stepson Calvin Sanders, 2000 South Ash,
Independence; a stepdaughter, Mrs Iva Willis,Odessa, and 14 grandchildren.
