Clara married Emil Grossheusch, the son of Wilhelm Grosshuesch 1845 and Margarethe Neuhaus.
The couple lived in Manitiwoc Rapids.

CLARA GROSSHUESCH
Mrs. Emil Grosshuesch, 86, of R. 3, Manitowoc, died early today at the Bethany Manor Home in Sheboygan where she had resided the past week.
The former Clara Matthias was born Dec. 13, 1877, in Sheboygan County, a daughter of the late Henry and Mary Sieber Matthias. She married Emil H. Grosshuesch on May 4, 1901.
The couple operated the homestead farm, moving to Browns Corners where they resided for 31 years until the death of her husband on Feb. 1, 1958. Since then she lived with her son and daughter-in-law on the homestead farm.
Surviving are a son, Elmer, R. 3, Manitowoc; a sister, Mrs. Clarence Schienle, Milwaukee; a brother, Henry Matthias, Cleveland; four grand-children and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Salem Ebenezer Reformed Church, Town of Newton. The Rev. Norman C. Hoeflinger, pastor, will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, after 3 p.m. Wednesday and at the church from noon until the time of services on
Thursday.
