Michael Ray Eads, Jr., 41, of West Lafayette, passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Born October 30, 1971 in Lafayette, he was the son of Michael Ray Eads, Sr. (wife, Betsy) of Killen, TX and Margaret (Edwards) Hayden (husband, Terry) of West Lafayette.
Michael was a self-employed carpenter. He loved listening to music, and playing board games.
Surviving with his parents and step-parents are his three children, Michael Ray Eads III of Somerset, KY, Kearston Lynn Eads and Cameron Michael Eads both of West Point, IN; a sister, Kelly Mason (husband, Paul) of Lafayette, a half sister, Amanda Eads and a half brother, Andrew Eads both of Killen, TX. He was preceded in death by a half sister, Tommie Hayden.
Visitation from 5-8 p.m. Thursday at Hippensteel Funeral Home. Funeral service 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Tom Camp officiating. Burial to follow at Rest Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or Disabled American Veterans. Hippensteel Funeral Home entrusted with care.
