LILA “Charsha” ARCHIBALD: age 48 years, widow of James Archibald, died at her home near Woodlawn, Tuesday week, after a long illness. Besides a son, Harold, and a daughter, Virginia she is survived by three brothers; E. Forest Charsha, of Summit, James, of Port Deposit, and Wrightson, of Woodlawn, and by five sisters; Misses Eva and Ethel Charsha, of Washington, D.C., Miss Virginia Charsha of New York, Mrs. Edmund Brown, of Woodlawn, and Mrs. Paul Simmers, of Perry Point. Funeral services were held at her late home Friday afternoon, in charge of Rev. John H. Whedbee. Interment in Hopewell cemetery. (Cecil Democrat 7/18/1931)
