WHITE ROCK – Funeral services for Arthur Clyde Boland, 96, will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 2, 2013, at New Life Chapel, Heritage at Lowman with interment in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Little Mountain. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service. Caughman-Harman Funeral Home, Lexington Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
Mr. Boland was born September 4, 1916 in Chapin, SC and passed away on Monday, December 31, 2012. He was the son of the late Clifton Boland and Bertha Comalander Boland. He was a member of Reformation Lutheran Church. He was manager of Sunshine Laundry and Dry Cleaners.
Mr. Boland is survived by his sons, The Rev. Arthur Glenn (Carole) Boland of Blythewood and James Clyde (Jan) Boland of Cartersville, GA; grandchildren, Lane, Daniel and Christopher Boland; sisters, Vera Summer of West Columbia and Audrey Fulmer of Chapin. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Riser Boland.
