Edmeston - Oscar P. Brainard
Oscar P Barinard aged 77, died Nov. 13th at the home of his daughter Mrs. Elmer Boutwell after four months illness.
Mr. Brainard a retired carpenter and former janitor of the Edmeston School was born in West Exeter. On Feb. 11 1891 he married Minnie Huyck of Schuyler Lake, who died Sept. 1919.
Besides the daughter he is survived by another daughter Mrs. Raymond West of West Burlington and a son Earl Brainard of New Hartford.
The funeral was held Saturday afternoon at the Houk funeral home with the Rev. A.F. Austin officiating, burial was in Union Cemetery.
