Annette Venable Sanders, widow of Emmett C. Sanders, died December 29, 2012.
A native of Athens, she was the daughter of the late C.T. and Ella May Seymore Venable. Mrs. Sanders served as a nurse with the U.S. Navy, followed by a career in nursing in Athens. She was a member of Young Harris United Methodist Church.
Graveside services will be Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at 1 p.m. at Evergreen Memorial Park.
Survivors include her sons, James Michael Sanders (Mary) of McFarland, WI and William Kenneth Sanders (Susan) of Winterville; grandchildren, Brian Sanders (Mary Alice), Michael Sanders (Brittany), Rachel Sanders and Jessica Sanders, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 10 a.m. until Noon..
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Hospice House, 1660 Jennings Mill Road, Bogart, GA 30622.
