Retired ASARCO Foreman Dies at 79
Brainard Bardwell, 145 Quail, a resident of El Paso more than 50 years and retired foreman for American Smelting and Refining Co., died Sunday at the age of 79.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Kaster-Maxon and Futrell Restlawn Chapel with the Rev. Edwin L. Chappell officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Park with graveside Masonic services under direction of Fraternity Lodge 1111, of which Mr. Bardwell was a member.
Mr. Bardwell was also a member of Scottish Rite Bodies of El Paso and El Maida Shrine.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Beaulah Bardwell; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Barron of El Paso; a brother, Bob Bardwell of Sweetwater, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. J. H. Withers of Sweetwater and Mrs. H. E. Baird of San Antonio; and two grandchildren.
