Rhonda was born in St. Helens to Richard L. and Donna M. Connely. She was one of those people everyone loved and liked to be around. She attended Ockley Green grade school all eight years and Jefferson High School all four years. She was Senior Class President and graduated in 1978. She worked retail banking before joining the law firm of Miller Nash in 1988 through 1996. She married Jim Atwood in 1995. They had one son, Jordan, in 1999 and divorced in 2003. In 1999, Rhonda graduated from the Heritage School of Interior Design. Interior design was her true passion. This led to her final career working for Pendleton Woolen Mills in their Home Store. Rhonda was predeceased by her mother in 1999 and leaves behind her father, Richard Connely; son, Jordan Atwood; ex-husband, Jim Atwood; and significant friend, Michael Welter. In accordance with her request, the Celebration of Rhonda's Life will be a potluck at 12 noon in Jim's home, 6760 SW Amber Lane, Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. Services will be held niche side in the Dafodil section of Riverview Abbey Mausoleum, 0319 SW Taylors Ferry Rd. at 11 a.m. All welcome to attend one or both.
