Ernest Winfred Hubbard, my gg-uncle, was the son of my paternal gg-grandmother Susan Jane Harris Floyd Maroney and her third husband Henry Hubbard.

Ernest Winfred Hubbard married first Martha McCoy on August 12, 1897 in Tishomingo County, Mississipi, and they had:

(1) Eulala Pearl Hubbard (1898-1972) who married several times. She married James Oscar Beard and had Ernestine Beard and James Clayton Beard. She married a Mr. Williams. She married Herschel Cullen. Eulala Pearl Cullen is buried at Slayden Cemetery in Marshall County, Mississippi. See: Find a Grave Memorial #64577186. Son James Clayton Beard (1920-1967) is also buried at Slayden Cemetery.

(2) Paulene Hubbard b. 1901 in Tishomingo County.

Ernest Winfred Hubbard married second Lou Venia Shackelford, and they had:

(1) Louis M. Hubbard Sr (1905-1984). He married Doris Alderson. They are buried at Pine Crest Cemetery in Mobile, Alabama; see Find a Grave Memorial #50142826.

(2) Alice Hubbard (1909-1929). She married Thomas Elmo Allison Jr. They had Alice Cornelia Allison (1925) and Kenneth Allison (1926-1996). Alice died, age 19, on January 14, 1929 of Puerperal Sepsis in a Memphis, Tennessee hospital. She is probably buried in the Old Raleigh Cemetery in Raleigh. The cemetery is in great disrepair. The "Tennessee, Death and Burials Index, 1874-1955" shows she was buried on January 16, 1929 in Raleigh, Tennessee but does not give the name of the cemetery.

(3) Blanche Hubbard (1910-2000) married Richard Gus Chapuis on December 10, 1935 in Grenada County, Mississippi. She is buried at Jackson County Memorial Park, Pascagoula, Jackson County, Mississippi; See Find a Grave Memorial #63157629.
